Dr. Goodman provides comprehensive orthopedic care with a focus on restoring strength, mobility, and performance. She is skilled in the treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries, with advanced training in injury prevention, IASTM, cupping, and dry needling.
Her background in working with overhead and endurance athletes — runners, lifters, active adults, professional athletes, and active-duty military personnel — allows her to create individualized programs that bridge the gap between rehab and performance.
Whether recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, or optimizing movement, Dr. Goodman blends evidence-based rehabilitation with strength and conditioning principles to help patients move better, feel stronger, and perform at their best.
-
Dr. Goodman specializes in trigger point dry needling, an evidence-based technique used to treat muscle pain and dysfunction. Dry needling is an effective adjunct to rehabilitation for musculoskeletal conditions, enhancing movement efficiency and facilitating optimal recovery.
-
Dr. Goodman provides personalized exercise prescription and wellness guidance tailored to your goals, whether that’s improving strength, recovering from injury, or optimizing health during pregnancy, postpartum, or beyond. She also offers practical nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support overall well-being and long-term functional fitness.
Initial Evaluation
-
Your initial evaluation is a thorough look at your health history, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals. We perform a comprehensive orthopedic and movement assessment to uncover areas of weakness, imbalance, or restriction that may be contributing to your discomfort. For pelvic health concerns, this can include an internal or external pelvic floor evaluation (with your consent) to assess muscle strength, coordination, and tension. You’ll begin targeted interventions the very same day, so you can start your journey toward recovery and improved function right away.
-
This price includes your initial evaluation, a personalized treatment plan, and any interventions performed, such as manual therapy, dry needling, cupping, or tailored exercise prescription. You’ll also have direct access to Dr. Goodman via email throughout your plan of care, so you can ask questions or address concerns between sessions.
Follow Up
-
Follow-up sessions focus on your progress, addressing any changes in symptoms or function since your last visit. Each session may include manual therapy, dry needling, cupping, exercise progression, or other targeted interventions to help you continue improving. Your plan of care is adjusted as needed to ensure steady progress toward your goals. You’ll also have ongoing access to Dr. Goodman via email to answer questions or provide guidance between visits.
-
Virtual Visit
-
A virtual evaluation allows you to connect with Dr. Goodman from the comfort of your home. During your session, she will review your health history, discuss your symptoms and goals, observe your movement patterns, and provide personalized guidance, exercises, and strategies to start your recovery. You’ll leave with a clear plan of care and ongoing support via email to answer questions or address concerns between sessions.
